IJL logoThis September, we will be introducing our playful new brand of jewellery at IJL, London, for the first time.  Visit our stand and find out how you can become one of our new stockists.

I Love a Lassie seeks to take a bite out of nostalgia with a range of contemporary jewellery inspired by life’s little treasures.

The first six collections to go on show at IJL (stand D28 in the Design Gallery) will feature a selection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and cufflinks handcrafted from simple tokens that make us all smile: the string Grannie tied round her finger as a reminder; a fragment of antique lace; an original bawbee coin; a long-lost cameo; a jaggy rose-thorn from a traditional Scottish garden and some intriguing contents from an old bird’s nest discovered on a woodland walk.

Each design is cast in solid sterling silver and offered in 18ct yellow gold vermeil, 18ct rose gold vermeil and black rhodium finishes. Every piece is finished by hand in I Love a Lassie’s Edinburgh workshop and bears the traditional Edinburgh Castle hallmark.

Visitors to I Love a Lassie’s stand at IJL will find dramatic stand-alone pieces such as the neckpiece cast from a lace applique motif.  Other pieces, such as the twig necklaces and textured bangles, work well layered together for a more personalised look.

Our jewellery is designed by Arlene Katorza who has been selling her hand-made designs from her jewellery boutiques in Edinburgh for more than twenty years.

I Love a Lassie intends to sell its jewellery via select stockists nationally and internationally. The jewellery is currently available for purchase through Annie Smith in Edinburgh. The full selection of I Love a Lassie jewellery can be viewed on the company’s new website:
